ABOUT
I am a philosopher working on ethics and moral psychology, interested in Kant’s practical philosophy and its ramifications for contemporary philosophy of emotion and environmental ethics.

I have published on Kant's understanding of feelings and desires and how it is related to contemporary and past conceptions of emotions. I am also interested in the ethics of emerging technologies and in political philosophy.

Currently, I am working on a Kantian account of self-love, that situates it in the context of its early modern predecessors. I argue that this account is an attractive alternative to the prevalent narcissist understanding of self-love. I also work on a project on the nature and value of revenge, and on a Kantian approach to environmental ethics.
